To ugly.  Look China to me.

Come on Honda????

Look at the New Kawasaki Teryx (T-Rex)  Now that has gotten all of them beat in the looks department.

I am a little shocked at the 2-seat -vs- Bench as most farmers/workers will go for the Honda Dependability.  Bench is nice for work as you can fit three in the front instead of 2.  2 seaters are fine if you want to compete with the Polaris RZR, Yamaha Rhino, or the new Kawasaki.

I guess we will see.

I was waiting for honda to come out with one.  I could not (and my wife could not) wait any longer so I got the Polaris Ranger 500 for doing work around the house.  The bench is great as the wife and I and our two boys can all fit in the front.

I hope they change the looks

I think the Honda Big Red is more of a utility/work type with some fun type of machine. But who knows, we will see once it releases.

I think the Big Red has got to be one of the ugliest thing I've ever seen ,I'm sure it's got Honda quality but they aren't going to grab much of the sxs market with that beast...

They're definetly going after the utility side of things. Maybe they'll go Polaris' route and release a sportier sxs as well. We can only hope.

Came here for a visit and i seen this tread which i can give you a honest opinion about the big red. This past winter i got to try one at my local powersports dealer, bear in mind this was the first side by side i ever drove.Motor was very rough, very un-honda ilke.Alot more torque than speed, didn,t seem to move any faster when you gave it more gas.Ride over rough terrain was somewhat smooth but you have to put a few miles on those showa shocks to make a firm judgement(my 420 was the same, rough at first but after a few miles out of this world).Seats and controls were very nice but this is not a sport machine like YAMAHAs  side by side.I think the gear box tranny is a big advantage over the belt drive systems(this coming from a huge snowmobile fan, love belt drive on sleds, hate it on ATVs).Steering feel was firm but easy, loved the diff-lock feature. Wheels  are pretty small but there was lots of clearence for big tires.Digital gauge was right of my 420,another cost saver. To sum it up unless you are a HUGE honda fan that needs a pure work side by side, skip the big red.If i won the lottery i would by one in a second to torture test.Hondas name sells itself.

The Honda Big Red 2 wheel drive in rough terrain is not very good but if you take the cotter pin out of the cable for the rear diff lock you can lock the rearend just like any other quad.
