I haven't ridden many dunes, but it is cool fun!
Most of our riding is XCountry forests and moto-x tracks and trail riding on farm land!
OH yeah, I have been riding bikes and quads for 38 years.
Wow! I must be OLD!
Ride like you stole it!

I have been riding on and mostly off for 24 years starting at age 11 with my much older brother and brothers in law.  Work in NYC, right near MSG so don't have much free time with new daughter.  I started on a Yamaha 225DX shaft atc, Fourtrax125, 250SX Honda shaft atc, 200X, 200SX fourtrax, 350X atc, TRX250R (best bike ever), LT250R Suzuki (wost bike ever), at age 16, bought and fixed a 1971 Pontiac Formula with 6.6L engine), a short switch to dual sport 2 wheelers including yamaha 350BW and XT250, back to four wheels where I belong, warrior, 2000 400EX, then bar exam, engagement ring, wedding, honeymoon and house, then 2005 400EX with reverse.

Learned about the 700xx, wanted it immediately, came to my senses and waited.  Got a great price on it and still haven't really had time to break her in yet.  So darn fast and smooth.  To me, scary fast like 250R, but smooth over the rough stuff like nothing else I have ever experienced, and reverse is great for exploring and going through the tight stuff.  Fuel injection, no fouled plugs, electric start, it's amazing.   Will be ordering bearclaws rear, 13T front sprocket and razr II front tires.  It  should be a snowbeast through the northern NJ trails and way more fun than utility atv's i now ride with.

If I had the time, I'd lobby to bring Arizona street-legal laws to NJ!
