I like my UNI.

:)

Do you think it has better gains over the others?  Isn't that just a foam filter?

Velocity has more filter area... More filter area more flow...

Yeah but when you put the outwears on it you end up with the same surface area tho....

Also I can buy 5 UNI's for the price of that thing.

does anyone know if the 450r kits are the same as the 700xx?  I talked to Alba yesterday and they have the 700xx kit, but they also said it they thought it might be the same.

No I don't believe it does, I think the 450 has a bolt on adapter, the 700 is just a black collar to keep the plastic boot from collasping. Ask the guys on a 450 forum for a pic

Also when it comes to HP, those dollars could be better spent elsewhere IMO.

I'm not dogging you for your purchase, I think it's a really nice filter and is purdy and all.

If you have the money opt for the Velocity,  I'm sure the other filters are equal quality but the Velocity has more surface area. Installing the outerwear does not change surface area of the actual filter. The Velocity has more potential to flow more... If the added flow is needed may be questioned but I'm sure it will help in my situation when the build is complete
