I've been waiting for this machine for a long time. I sold my 450 2 years ago so I could buy this quad.! I'll just need a different bumper when I get mine. Not too sure I like the one Honda put on there. :)

Oh man, I to have been waiting for this machine. The only thing that bothers me is the weight, but it is a 508lbs WET weight so I am hoping its closer to 450# dry. But so far I am loving the specs and the look isn't to bad if you remove the black crap around the fenders. Any ways, welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy the site!

I have been waiting for a big bore ATV from Honda for years!

Now do I sell the 450R or keep it for my girl to ride?

I think you should keep it, I will be keeping mine. If I get the 700xx and I really like it, and it can fill the spot of the 450r, then I might sell it.

Hi guys. Looks like I'm nr.13. Somebody had to be. Good looking site. I've seen alot of negative comments on different forums on the 700XX - it's actually silly- will people ever be content with anything? Honda had many years to do their homework, and I think they did.  For them to have released anything according to the Raptor recipe would have been "too little-too late". Fortunately they went a different direction with the 700XX - which I think is great ! So while we are all waiting impatiently for the release, we may just as well talk some nonsence. Here is my quad history : 1998 Yamaha Timberwolf; 1998 Yamaha Blaster; 2001 Yamaha Blaster; then I opened my eyes- 2002 Honda TRX400EX; 2005 TRX450R; 2005 Rincon 650; and then ?; guess - 2005 TRX400EX, which I still ride and enjoy!!! Yes, sometimes I misses the top-end power of the 450R, sometimes I misses the comfort of the Rincon's IRS and it's presence, but to me the 400EX is a better overhaul package for a lot less money. And now, hopefully there will be a 700XX in the near future, which I believe will have all the good attributes of my last 4 rides, plus a few bonusses like real "POWER and TORQUE". Enjoy............. :o

Exactly! The 700xx is going to be for a different market than the Raptor. Every ATV honda has released has always really impressed me. Honda knows what is best.

Well.  I am waiting.  I have my Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI up for sale.  I am planning on getting the 700xx or the Outlaw 525 IRS.

Well Here is my Backround.

Before quads I have owned 3 Honda CBR600 Sportbikes. (never any problems with them)

I first started out with a 2000 400EX and loved it to death until my buddies started to trade theres of for 4x4's to due more mudding.  Well we had 6 400EX'x in the group.  And may I note that there was never a problem with any of them.  I wanted to get the Rincon but I was very unimpressed with there 4-wheel drive system so I went for the Polaris.  I don't mined Polaris as I ride Polaris Snowmobiles,  but it was very hard to get myself to purchase anything besides a Honda (note my Username given to me by my Buddies)  Well I got the 2003 Polaris 600 Twin and had some fun with it, but there was just not enough spunk to it, so in 2005 I traded it in for the 800 EFI.  During all of this I also owned a Honda XR650L.  I do not regret the 800 at all.  I loved this machine, lots of power and fun to ride, even though a little heavy steering at times.

Well the way I ride my 800 is scary for the size of the machine and to heavy.  We do mainly Woods Trail riding and we do not put along at all.  Now most of my buddies have Dirt Bikes and I am Having trouble trying to keep up and we are starting to ride at a few personal tracks and the 800 likes to eat belts when jumping and doing tagble tops with it lol.  I went trough my 2yr old belt in about ten laps and another used belt in about 3 laps all in the same day lol.  Never had belt issues before.  I just purchased a Polaris Ranger for all of my work need and no longer use my 800 for those purposes.

So I am looking for the ultimate Trail machine that has something similar for ride comfort as my past Sportsman's but has the fun and heart of my past 400ex.  Now that they have these IRS Sport Quads....Perfect.  Now just witch one to get?????
