In short, 24" tires will throw gearing off making it way high. Drop to a 12 or 13 tooth front sprocket to gear the bike back down for competitive woods riding. A front sprocket off a TRX450R will fit the 700XX. Dont mess with the rear sprocket. Replace the chain and sprockets as a set if any or all of the 3 are worn. The bike will clear 24's so you shouldn't have to do anything else. Keep the old 22's and the 14 tooth in case you want throw em back on for the track
I'm running 24x10-11 Bearclaws on my 08' stock rims. The set up with my shocks dialed up a little gives about 13" ground clearance. I also run a PRM Summit front bumper, 12 tooth front sprocket, a tool can on the left rear frame under the fender for long rides, keep a tow strap around the grab bar and have the baffle out. The bike is awesome for woods racing, pulls like a mule with the lower gearing and goes places with the 24's that I couldn't go without em. Next additions are PRM floorboards and ditching the stock front tires.......
