New(er) to ATV'ing, 700XX bad choice?

hey guys newer to ATVing, maybe only 20 hours or so lifetime total on one, only ridden utility style quads w/ 4 wheel drive, as that is what everyone in my family has. however i think the sporty models look like a lot more fun, and it looks like you can get a 08 TRX700XX for around ~4k OTD right now I was wondering if you guys think its a huge mistake for a noobie? also correct me if I'm wrong but getting it for ~4k should leave me with decent resale value in a couple years if I don't roll it or anything right? oh also I should add I'm going to be running it with a lot of utility quads, so doing a lot of trails, not so much in the dunes, IRS sounds appealing for that use

Hi Mate, you should be ok on the 700xx in standard trim. Buying one for 4g you carnt go wrong. I have had one for 4 months now and I think its the best all round quad I have ever owned.

you'll be fine on the trails. thats mostly where i ride mine. one of my other quads is a sportsman 800 and i prefer to ride the 700xx unless i am going to get on some really nasty stuff where ill need 4x4 or a free hand or a winch.
