dual exhausts?
« on: January 28, 2010, 03:38:43 PM »
is it possible to put dual exhausts on the 700xx? I seen that HMF made duals for the KFX 700 and just wanted to know if they had any for the 700xx.

any info would be appreciated
thanks

The KFX has two exhaust ports, The XX has only one.

If you want loud why even spend money? Just cut the muffler off and be on your way to annoying everyone.

DMC is absolute trash. I've seen soda cans with that were more solid. If I may ask, why are you looking for an exhaust that will split ear drums? It's common knowledge that louder doesn't translate into more power. This issue hits home for me as the only legal riding park in NJ was shut down just last year. One of the primary complaints was noise. I'm assuming you're a younger rider as this is what I usually hear them saying. Not that I'm an old man at 29. I honestly believe that if our great sport will ever be accepted publicly as anything other than a nuisance then it's up to us riders to respect the environment in which we operate our vehicles. In terms of exhaust, I'm leaning towards the new HMF Comp. Series Full System.  I like the fact that you can switch cores depending on what power level and sound output you're looking to achieve. Also considering the HMF Quiet Race Series.  I've seen some impressive dyno numbers with that pipe as well.

Folks I use the HMF Bill Ballance full system and the HMF generation 3 controller with the two stage Pro Design filter and billet adapter and have had excellent results. A nice loud deep note and excellent seat of the pants HP gains. I havent used the Torque amplifier yet but will try it in the future.
