Hi Tez, I have had my 700xx for 6 months now and its one of the best quads I have owned. When you do the BIG3 it opens up a whole new world of HP. Mate you will always get good and bad reviews remember Honda went out on a limb with this one and I rekon they succeded. The only problem with the quad is its a bit heavy when jumping and it got no adjustable suspension. I used to say the the Raptor had the best trail motor I have ever rode well move over Raptor because the 700xx motor is a level above the Raptor it has a good overlap of torque and top end power. I rode my girls Raptor 700 on the weekend and it feels so unrefined and rough I wanted my quad  back  but she rode of and wouldnt give my quad back for an hour.

cheers overlord , just needed some reassurance .
i know reviews are always biased to that person for the riding they do , if i race at all im looking at enduros and i guess this will be a better suited bike.
ive been told the front shockies are sub par but to me thats just a riders preference and can be changed .
just a question though we do alot of sand dune riding do-nuts sliding and flicking ass end around my concern without a rigid rear axle is am i gonna find it digging in  and not so inclined to slide

cheers overlord

Tez, I have not taken mine into the dunes but people say they can dig in a bit when trying to slide them in the sand but I dont find the dig in a problem on the trail. I have spun this thing out ,I mean full 360 twice as much as I have a straight axel quad. I reckon the answer may be a sway bar from Sonic Offroad in the US good product and works well on IRS to keep them nice and flat. Mate are you a member of OZATV

thanks overlord , i guess my concerns started by only riding a rigid axle quad and the ass end has always responded to the throttle.but we do a fair bit of track work also , i guess its hard to get a bike to do all the different terrain.my 400 is great in the dunes for donuts and whips but painful over the woops.i plan on doing enduros so i am led to believe 700xx to be the better bike to be on.i guess when you cant test drive it,it becomes a $12000 question.
sway bar sounds interesting .
im not a member of ozatv but will check it out thanks for that
have you fitted nerf bars on your 700 if so what brand did you go for, i fitted motoactiv which were sheperd,my only concern after bending and tweaking and several hours of hair pulling was that they sit very close to oil sump.
cheers Terry

Mate welcome to the show because I have the same Nerfs and I had the same problems but I reckon there the best looking nerfs money can buy. Man have you seen the Sheppard Custom Chivery Bumper man it was made for the 700xx. Are you talking about the oil box cause I filed mine back a couple of mil and it clears just fine. Have you got a steering dampner currently a guy is selling a Precesion for $325 on this site. Also I can get CCP dampner's for $225 sent to Aus and they are way above a piston dampner. You also want to get the Trail Tec clamps and medium bend tappered bars what  a difference it makes for just $200 posted from the states not to mention the smick little dash that comes with it. Then some ASV levers are the trick sent to your door for around $200 you will never ride with out them again.      Regards Overlord
