The XX will be released next week. Some dealers should have them on April 1st. As I stated on another thread, the initial feedback from the test riders is not good. I'm really pissed!!
Wow, I don't want to sound like a know-it-all dick but I really doubt that... I don't think Honda can fail with a product they hype ip so much.

I agree with you, and I hope that what I heard was wrong. But this info came from a pretty good source.

Well Honda has riders that test the ATVs long before they are released and if the riders have any complaints about the machines, Honda will correct them before it is released. Take a look at most of Honda's products, they see very little updates the year after release because Honda usually does it right there first time around. The 450r still hasn't had any major changes since its first debut in 2004.

I hope you are right! I guess it would depend on where they were ridden. If they put this thing thru it's paces on the trail and out in the open, they should know. The comment that bothered me the most is that an Outlaw 525 would "kill" the XX. Like I said, I hope there is some bias there.

I hope there is bias also as I was torn between the Outlaw and the new 700xx.  I decided on the 700xx for many of reasons...and if what you have heard is true then shoots allot of those reasons down the tubes.  I just hope there is some hard facts available before I get mine on or around the 16th of April.

I wish they had as i want to race mine in the Finke desert race, very high speed so i'm thinking of going taller on the front sprocket, anyone got any ideas on really getting this trx going fast. I'd like a top speed of around 170kph.

Also does anyone know where i can get a full set of skid plates?????

Go hard or go home guys, enjoy ya TRX700XX

You do know that the XX has won a handful of Baja races already? You wouldn't need a taller front sprocket either as you can hit 88mph with the stock gearing.

If you can't figure it out then you don't need to go that fast.

PRM-ATV.com has a lot of different skid plates and protectors for the 700xx, really high quality products.
